Pretty in Pink, Skating and Brady

Madison's Girl Scout troop was invited to a Pretty in Pink Princess Party.

Katelyn and I got to tag along too!
 The girls made flower headbands...
 And pipe cleaner crowns..

and participated in a Princess walk....
It was alot of fun---and Eric got to watch the Aggie football game while at home in peace and quiet!
Afterwards, we attended a skating party! It was the first time that the girls have ever been to a skating rink. Madison was excited to try and Katelyn was mad because her skates didn't work (they gave her walking ones so the wheels didn't turn).
Here is Eric walking with Madison as she was learning to skate. I was so nervous that she would fall and injure her arm again---but she didn't!

Then Katelyn and I traveled to Texas to see Becky at the hospital. Brady Michael was born on 10/10/10 at 5:45. He is a doll baby and Katelyn was so excited to see the baby! She wanted to hold him so bad but I told her that she could hold our baby in about 8 weeks.

Katelyn, Brady and Brenda (Becky's sister)
Congratulations to Becky and Dwayne. Welcome to Parenthood! Enjoy every minute...it goes quickly!

Backyard Fun

The weather has been beautiful this entire week. We have spent tons of time outside....in the backyard playing...and in the front yard riding bikes. Beau has been on lots of walk lately (which he needs-he is 4 1/2 months old and weighs 46lbs!)

Madison was reading her book and this is her concentration face. LOL

Maddy has been drawing ALOT lately--every picture of me has a baby belly. She is so excited about our new baby and can't wait to "see her cute face".
She drew these for me at school today-which is better than her drawing pictures for boys-But she gave me a necklace and matching earrings! I thought that was funny since I rarely wear a necklace-Maybe she is trying to tell me something! LOL

Have a great weekend-we definitely will be outside for most of it!

Hat Day and Happenings

Madison's school has "Hat Day" on Fridays in October for a 5th Grade Fundraiser. She choose to wear her pink cowgirl hat--Friday is also "Team spirit" day. The kids can wear their school t-shirt or support their favorite team (she usually wears something A&M but she just got the school shirt and choose to wear it)

Today the girls wore their Halloween shirts and I thought they looked so cute--so a photo for fun!

I had an OB appt today and everything is fine. Last time I had my 1 hour glucose test and the results came back A-Ok!  My doctor told me that I was "not sweet"! Ha

Lately...

Madison designed her tank top at Ty and KC's (a children's boutique) and she finally got it back from the seamstress. She loves it and did a great job picking out the yoyos, buttons and bling around the neck line.

Madison recently joined Girl Scout Troop #226. They have Daisies and Juniors. Here she was receiving her certificate and membership pin.
The troop had their investiture ceremony and the Daisies sang a song while each Junior read a poem or speech.

 We celebrated Eric's birthday~
 Star Wars Style!
And the girls got their Halloween costumes. Madison wanted to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz...
 and Kate choose Minnie Mouse!

Madison was nominated be her teacher for Student of the Month. Today she was called from class and got to be on the TV station watched by the entire school. She received a medal, pencil and bracelet! Very cool! She also recently began reading AR books which she earns points for comprehension. We had our parent/teacher conference today and her teacher said wonderful things about her character and commented on what a great student she is in the class. She is doing very well and we are very proud of her.

Just for grins---Katelyn trying to blow up a balloon for Eric's birthday!

Madison's Book

Getting ready for a new baby
Going to the doctor
Dreams do come true-The family with a new baby

Look Mom....No cast

Madison got her cast off on Tuesday. She was so excited! We could not wait to see her little arm again!
There is Madison's little arm
The famous purple cast--and we got to keep it!
Welcome back little arm---we missed you! Today at school, Madison's teacher and classmates were so excited to see that her cast was off. In the carpool line, Mrs. Deseno announced her name as "Madison - with 2 good arms". LOL The teachers have been so sweet to Madison during her injury and really put my heart at ease while she was at school.
