Chloe's First Swim

 Chloe finally got in a pool
the water was nice and warm
she loved it

 we went to the condo with Lindsey and John
pool on the beach
doesn't get much better than that

 Chloe needed rest after all that swimming

Sick Kate talks about her blood surgery

It's beginning to look like Goodbye

 Well the Goodbye's have begun
It is always hard! Never gets easier!
We said bye to our friends, The Jaramillo's
We met them in San Antonio
and both got stationed to Pensacola
Their family is wonderful and we will miss them dearly

 Madison and Natalie are best little buddies!

Eric's squadron Farewelled him yesterday at The Oar House.
I decked out the girls in Red, White and Blue outfits
(you know---to support Daddy and all)
Chloe even wore her squadron bib

 The squadron commander said some nice things about Eric and the work he has done
I am so proud of him
He works hard
and doesn't need to hear "good job"
he puts in the effort because he cares
about the output

They presented him with an engraved sword (notice the patch on Chloe's bib)
Kate wanted to see -- but not touch!
It is crazy sharp!!!
They said to use it when the girls start dating---to scare the boys off!
Not a bad idea...hmmmm.

Man, I love this kid!

 I am so proud of
all the hardwork that
Madison has done this year

She joined Girl Scout Troop 226 as a Daisy
and loved meeting new friends

 She was the Student of the Month for September

 She had elbow surgery at the beginning of school
but never let that purple cast slow her down
she was a CHAMP through it all

She was voted MOST POSITIVE PERSON by the Kindergarten Teachers for October

She made the Wall of Fame at school for earing 10 points in AR in November

But she kept reading

and kept reading

She helped welcome another baby sister in November too

And she made the Brag Wall for earning 30 points in AR in January (no picture for Brag Wall-just announced on PA at school)

But she kept reading

She earned the mose Accelerated Reader points in her class

and earned this COOOOOOOL t-shirt

was treated to a field trip to see IMAX Born to be Wild

She is so special
I hope she continues to grow and learn

and become the beautiful little lady that she is intended to be

Chloe-6 months

Dolphins

 back on the boat Sunday
after Nana and Pops left for Texas
the weather was beautiful (again)

 Madison got to help drive

we stumbled across a dolphin family out for a swim

we circled for nearly an hour

watching them play

big ones and baby ones

right in our own "backyard"

they swam all around us

Fun with Nana and Pops

 My parents drove to town
we crammed lots of fun things in
to a very short visit
Friday was lunch with Madison at school
dinner at Lulu's

 played bean bag games
in the sand
while waiting for our table
didn't seem like we waited 1 hour
but we did

they even had LIVE music
 photos on the stage with Pop
