My head is spinning. I absolutely have no idea how to plan a trip to Germany. There is so much to do and only 2 weeks to make the most of it. Eric really wants to go to Italy and I would love that. The closest place is Venice. It is a 5 hour drive from Garmisch. Austria is a 3 hour drive. Switzerland is a 4 hour drive. Munch is a 3 hour drive. Crazy! In less than 4 weeks, we will have to make our itinerary. I hope that our passports arrive in time! :-)
On a different note, we are feeling fine---no swine flu here! But there are lots of cases in town. Madison's preschool was cancelled for the week and waiting to hear if they continue the cancellation longer (since more cases are being confirmed). A family on base (from Eric's squadron) has a little one not feeling well. They are quarantined to their home and waiting test results from the CDC. YUCK!
