Thanksgiving Sing-a-Long

Madison's class held a sing-a-long on Friday. Some students were pilgrims and others were indians. They sang lots of songs and then invited the parents for a light snac of donuts and juice.

The is our neighbors daughter, Adalee, who is obsessed with Katelyn. She just loves her and Katelyn thinks she is so awesome.
Madison's class is practicing writing sentences. How awesome is that?

Most Positive Person award

These t shirts were gifts from Gwen. They are absolutely adorable!
Madison was chosen by her teacher to recieve the Most Positive Person award for November. She (along with other Kindergarteners) were on the closed circuit TV one morning. Here she is posing!

They have a little studio with a news anchor desk and cameras. Everything is operated by students! It is so fun to watch-
Congrats Madison! Thanks for being who you are. We love you!

Veteran's Day

I took Katelyn to the public library for storytime today. The theme was Veteran's Day. They passed out flags, and marched to patriotic songs. SO much fun! I found out later that morning that Katelyn can recite the pledge of alligence. Who knew? Not us?
At preschool, part of their morning routine is circle time. During circle time, they learned the pledge. Way to go Katelyn.

On our way to the night air show at NAS Pensacola.

Bike Rodeo

Katelyn's preschool held their Bike Rodeo during school one day. She had so much fun and rode her bike all over the place, while wearing a huge smile.

Good job Kate! Way to ride!

Our new Accelerated Reader

Welcome to the Club, Madison

Pajama Parade

The Kindergarten classes held a Pajama Parade on Friday. All of the kids were allowed to wear their PJ's to school and towards the end of the day, they walked the halls looking for open doors. If doors were open, the classes were allowed to walk through the other classrooms waving to the other (older) kids. I thought that the Kinders would be a little shy but everyone did really great and had lots of fun.
